Tacos on the streetNow I know we have all seen vendors selling street tacos in Sayulita and I must say very rarely are we disappointed when we indulge or sometimes over indulge in the different flavors each vendor brings to this simple meal. When I first arrive to the bay area a friend of mine took me to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to one of her favorite places, she called the place "street tacos" which was short for the real name,"Tacos on the Street". I have over the years been to hundreds of places where taco stands provide this basic mexican fast food, however I always returned to La Cruz for what I consider the best tacos in the area.

People have always said if you wait long enough good things will come to you. Well guess what, Tacos on the Street has arrived to Sayulita. Jorge Diaz who arrived from Tijuana with his family in 1990 and opened Tacos on the Street in 1993 in La Cruz. Jorge was 10 years of age when his family opened in La Cruz and has been doing all that is required in running and operating a very successful business.

I for one and very happy that I can walk a block from my office and have one or two of best tacos in the bay area. I hope you all welcome Jorge to Sayulita and visit. Tacos on the Street is open from 5 pm to 10 pm 4 days a week from Thursday through Sunday. There location is on the new boulevard Revolucion down from the Sayulita Son and across the street from Coasta Verde International School or call ahead (322-137-4519) and get them to go.
