Punta Sayulita is presenting two events in November at the Punta Sayulita Beach House, on the beach in Sayulita next to Don Pedro's. We hope you are able to join us for one or both of these inspiring presentations.

Sea Turtle Symposium Education Night

Featuring:
Frank D. Smith, Director
Grupo Ecológico de la Costa Verde, A.C.

Thursday, November 19, 2009
4:30 p.m. local time (5:30 p.m. CST)

Punta Sayulita is pleased to invite you to participate in an
educational presentation by Frank D. Smith, Director, Grupo Ecologico de la Costa Verde, on the protection of our local Marine Sea Turtles.

Since 1992, Grupo Ecologico de la Costa Verde and its volunteers have dedicated their efforts to the preservation of the endangered Marine Sea Turtle. Group Ecologico de la Costa Verde was the first environmental non-profit civil association of the region with the special interest in the protection of the marine turtle. Through the Mexican Government, SEMARNAT (Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources) the Group was granted permission to continue its work along our neighboring beaches. Come learn from Frank how we can become active stewards of our environment and assist in protecting all sea life including the Marine Sea Turtle.

The presentation will be followed by a time for questions and answers and hopefully the release of baby Marine Turtles should hatchlings be available.

Fresh hors d’ oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
