Learn Spanish and discover Mexican culture in the beautiful village of Sayulita, Nayarit. Sayulita is a quiet fishing and surf village located one hour north of Puerto Vallarta Mexico.

Are you on vacation and really don’t want to go home with a big souvenir sombrero, a hangover,and feeling like you did not see the real Mexico? Have you lived in Mexico for years and still cannot get past the present tense? Now is your chance to make a change, learn a new language and understand a new culture . You will leave with new language skills, you will understand a different way of life and you will be relaxed and happy for your experience in Sayulita.

Monday 11:10-12:30 Ethnographic map of Mexico I (all levels taught in english and spanish) / Yoga in Spanish

1:30-3:00- False Cognates / Danza Folklorica

Tuesday 11:10 – 12:30 Cooking (salsa) / Ethnographic map of Mexico II

1:30-3:00 Mexican Masks /Traditional Herbs

Wednesay 11:10-12:30 Ethnographic map of Mexico III / Gardening
in Mexico´s pacific coast.

1:30 – 3:00 Mexican Games / News in Mexico

Thurday: Trip to La Peñita (extra cost) / Cooking (enchiladas)

Tianguis

Friday: 11:10 – 12:30 Huichol Center / Bicultural conversation class

1:30 – 3:00 Ojo de Dios / Mexican Cinematography

Saturday: Altavista Petrogliphs (extra cost) / Jungle Walk

Proceeds from the Language Intensive will go toward scholarships at Costa Verde International School.
