Commercial and cultural exchanges are nothing new to humankind. However, the speed at which they are conducted and the accessibility of multiculturalism has turned the traditional ways of intercultural exchanges upside down.

That is why, with the objective of empowering the children and the community as well as capacitating them to adapt to an ever changing world, Costa Verde International School recently added some new strings to its bow: the Cultural Center and the Language School.

The idea of having a cultural center and a language school lies on the fact that cultural traits and languages are the essence of human interaction.

By learning about one another’s customs and ways of communicating, individuals can better find their place among the collectivity in a harmonious form.

Furthermore, since communication is the key to peace achieving, knowing and understanding the differences that make up the global village’s complexity is primordial. The social connection to our diverse community is an important part of the Cultural Center and promoting respect and peace is the reason to be of Costa Verde International School.

Thus, through arts, dancing, cooking and the studying of Mexico’s diverse ethnical composition, Costa Verde Cultural Center is doing its share in making the world a better place to live.

Also, with French, English and Spanish classes, the Costa Verde Language Center offers both kids and adults the tools for good communication. Thoughts and ideas are powerful energy cells and the institution believes it is important to be able to convey this energy through the language vehicle. Not to be able of expressing feelings and emotions is too often the root of anger and aggressiveness.

In addition, it is scientifically proven that learning another language rejuvenates the brain . Also, more than a sign of respect, speaking a foreign tongue brings out new perspectives and even enables the speaker to better understand his or her own mother tongue.
