Litibu - Share The Beach

SHARE LITIBU THE BEACH

Please participate in the conservation and protection of endangered marine sea turtles found in all oceans and beaches of Mexico. In Nayarit State, sea turtle nesting season is underway June through December. Females come ashore, primarily at night to excavate a nest, lay their eggs and bury them before returning to sea. Male turtles remain at sea. All six species of sea turtles, which nest in Mexico, are endangered worldwide. The reproduction of baby sea turtles is critical to their survival. Your support during the turtle reproductive season is very important.

Our Little Gem, remains such even through all of the growing pains that we have inflicted upon this once sleepy little fishing village.
Today, the environmental problems facing Sayulita and the world are enormous. Earth’s resources are being stretched to the limit by rapid population growth, air, water and soil pollution. Global warming threatens to push our planet beyond its ability to sustain human life unless we can meet the growing need for food, energy and economic opportunity within a sustainable approach to economy and environment.
